While it is only hardly imaginable without a proper working electrification, all over the world, urban rail is a driver of urban traffic. While a few urban rail operators trust in a third rail (power bus), by far the most urban rail systems are electrified by overhead contact lines. These, we provide worldwide with our standard products. Beside the standard products which we supply, we have developed our special alloys Valthermo and Valcond. Due to the fact that Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and CO₂ output can be decreased significantly, more and more urban rail operators switch from the standard products to our sophisticated brands.
